The displayed wait times are collected and validated by our experienced team using a variety of methods (specialist self-reporting, automated fax updates, referral tracking by primary care contacts). They are average, non-urgent wait times. This does not constitute a guarantee, and the actual appointment date can vary depending on the specific circumstances of the referral. All of our data is updated at short intervals to make sure the information is accurate and current.

Our directory is meant to supplement your current workflow. Use the directory to look for a specialist and review wait times/practice information. When you've got the information you need, simply go back to your EMR window to direct the referral.

Our directory covers all of Ontario. Regions with the highest coverage are Toronto, GTA, Hamilton, Niagara, Ottawa, Simcoe County, Durham, and Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge-Guelph. You can use the search function above to see how many listings we have in your area. The output is based on percentage of total specialists in the area that are listed with wait times in our directory - Great (>80%), Good (>70%), Fair (>40%) or Low (<40%).

We have made it even easier for users of OSCAR, OSCAR Pro, and Telus PS Suites to refer to specialists. Telus PS Suites users can enjoy our import function to add their favourite specialists right into their EMR. OSCAR users are able to fill out consultation referrals with the specialist info using our Firefox/Chrome Extension.
